Nearly two months without a decent blog. When I started this particular blog, I did so with the intention of keeping my family up to date on my comings and goings. Now, nearly seven years into the piece Facebook has pretty much eliminated that reason to continue.
The death of the laptop has also contributed to the lack of postings, however the new birthday present (ipad! I have an ipad! with a keyboard!) solves that problem.
So, I shall continue on. My dreams of this blog becoming immensely popular and catapulting me to fame and fortune a la Pioneer Woman and others still lingers. I just have to find my audience. How many people are really interested in things a cranky woman over 50 have to say? Apparently they are interested in things a cranky man has to say (hence the upcoming tv show, shit my dad says). My market may be niche, but it's out there, just waiting to find me.
